报告摘要：

Combinatorial optimisation problems appear in a wide range of sectors, where AI search algorithms have been extensively studied. This seminar overviews the design of combinatorial optimisation algorithms based on the fundamental concept of search space. The different tree search and meta-heuristics will be overviewed with respect of different characteristics of search spaces. Example applications include game puzzles, automated scheduling and optimisation of personnel scheduling and routing, etc. The seminar concludes with future research extensions of integrating machine learning to automated algorithm design.

报告人简介：

屈嵘教授，英国诺丁汉大学（University of Nottingham）教授、博士生导师，现任智能信息处理中心学科创新联合实验室副主任，国家级青年人才项目获得者。专注于超启发式算法、自动化算法设计，融合运筹学与人工智能方法，研究成果应用于物流调度、医疗资源分配等领域。论文总引用超1.3万次，曾获英国皇家学会高级研究奖。担任《IEEE演化计算汇刊》等顶级期刊副主编、IEEE计算智能学会等多个技术委员会及工作组的主席或副主席，并积极推动中英学术合作，以生活化案例教学倡导跨学科实践，在智能决策系统领域具有重要学术影响力。
